New Year, New Us

I love all the possibilities that a new beginning brings. What is better than a new year to stop and reflect on ways you can improve your life? When it comes to fashion and style, I have a few areas I would love to work on.

First and foremost, I need to ditch the skinny jeans and button down shirt look almost everyday. More variety is definitely needed. I vow to try and wear a dress or skirt once a week in 2015.

Secondly, invest in more quality pieces and not so many cheapie items. It really is true that you get what you pay for.

Third, curl my hair more. It only takes a few extra minutes to do. When I do take the time to do it, I feel that my look is much more complete.

Lastly, clean out my closet at the end of every season. I am pretty good about purging things that I no longer wear but I can do better. It’s time to be brutally honest with my closet.

Oh, wait, I thought of something else … more arm candy. While I would never leave the house without putting on earrings or a necklace, I hardly ever remember to wear some pretty bangles or even a watch. That has got to change in 2015! Ok, now I think I’m done.
